Updates are necessary to the operating health of your system and that NOT UPDATING will cause your machine to run slow because the "install updates" program is running continually. Not Updating is NOT AN OPTION. If you don't want to update and you don't want any changes to your system then let it run slow and deal with that. It's your choice. Don't tell me something's wrong with the machine, cause it's not the machine. The machine is fine.

It also really gripes me when I hear that you've told your other friend who is good with computers that I installed the 4 toolbars that are running in your browser. These are the free toolbars you got when you did the Express rather than the Advanced install on your free downloads. I swear, it wasn't me.
